Where do I even start—location, comfort, or amenities? Magnolia Portside has it all! We stayed in the 3-bedroom, two-level unit on the second floor, and it was perfect for our family. With two kids attending Salve Regina University, the location couldn’t be better — just minutes from campus for football games, (and bars to celebrate the wins) close to coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques, and the waterfront.
The unit is beautifully renovated with lots of natural light and a great rear deck to soak up the sunshine and hang with friends. It was spotless and had everything we needed — towels, laundry in-unit, games, beach chairs, and even a welcome bottle of wine! The hosts were incredibly accommodating and thoughtful.
We’ve found our go-to spot in Newport — my family and I won’t stay anywhere else!

Perfect Newport Getaway!
We had an amazing stay at this beautiful Newport home! The property was in pristine condition—immaculately clean, spacious, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed and more. The hosts were exceptionally attentive and easy to reach, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable.
The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of Newport, walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the waterfront, or just a quick Uber to anywhere else you want to explore. The parking was excellent, and we loved relaxing in the nice yard and on the decks after a day out.
Truly a five-star stay—we’ll absolutely be back!

Our stay at Magnolia Portside was fantastic! Location just off Thames was right in the middle of great restaurants, shops and bars. We were walking distance to everything in downtown Newport. The house was spacious, spotless and thoughtfully designed with everything we needed for our week in Newport. Brian was responsive with info and also gave great recommendations of places to go. We will certainly be staying there again!!

We stayed at Magnolia Portside as a family of 4 and had a great time! The unit is upstairs and spans 2 levels. The host was excellent and very responsive. Beds were comfy and it had everything we needed. The location was great and we enjoyed being able to walk to quite a bit. Highly recommend. We’d love to stay here again!

I’ve stayed at Magnolia Portside a couple times now and it always exceeds my expectations. There’s enough room for 6 or more, close to all the attractions and well furnished. My daughter and I were able to walk to the mansions, the cliff walk, several great restaurants and more. Would definitely recommend and will be staying there again.

Great spot in Newport! Well-appointed, 3 bedroom home in the perfect area. Walking distance to all major restaurants, shops and nightlife. The apartment was clean, updated and came with everything you would need. Three bedrooms, all with comfortable beds and linens, living room area with TV and two outdoor deck spaces. The hosts also provided a nice bottle of wine to welcome us. The rental comes with several beach chairs and towels. We very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to others. Can’t wait to come back again!
