EXPERIENCE THE BEST OF NEWPORT!

Our stay at Magnolia Portside was fantastic! Location just off Thames was right in the middle of great restaurants, shops and bars. We were walking distance to everything in downtown Newport. The house was spacious, spotless and thoughtfully designed with everything we needed for our week in Newport. Brian was responsive with info and also gave great recommendations of places to go. We will certainly be staying there again!!

We stayed at Magnolia Portside as a family of 4 and had a great time! The unit is upstairs and spans 2 levels. The host was excellent and very responsive. Beds were comfy and it had everything we needed. The location was great and we enjoyed being able to walk to quite a bit. Highly recommend. We’d love to stay here again!

I’ve stayed at Magnolia Portside a couple times now and it always exceeds my expectations. There’s enough room for 6 or more, close to all the attractions and well furnished. My daughter and I were able to walk to the mansions, the cliff walk, several great restaurants and more. Would definitely recommend and will be staying there again.

Great spot in Newport! Well-appointed, 3 bedroom home in the perfect area. Walking distance to all major restaurants, shops and nightlife. The apartment was clean, updated and came with everything you would need. Three bedrooms, all with comfortable beds and linens, living room area with TV and two outdoor deck spaces. The hosts also provided a nice bottle of wine to welcome us. The rental comes with several beach chairs and towels. We very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to others. Can’t wait to come back again!

We had a great stay! It was awesome to be able to walk to restaurants and shopping. Newport 744 felt like home right away – charming, welcoming, and thoughtfully laid out. Very comfy mattress in the primary bedroom (I can’t speak for the others but the kids slept great). Check in and checkout were super easy. This is a perfect AirBnB and I can’t wait to go back!

Our 8 year old fell in love with your place! She’s demanding that all of us go back on our respective birthdays (we were there to celebrate my wife’s birthday) and plans to buy it if you ever sell. I really enjoyed that so much of the history of the house shows even though it has all the modern amenities. My own house is circa 1709 and seeing slightly crooked doorframes makes me smile. I also liked hearing the cheers from a soccer match one night – it was cool to be in the middle of things!

So close to everything! We walked to the Warf, Cliff Walk, and Washington Square. More central than I realized. There is a great wine and cheese place next door. They were sampling too.

Great location. Very walkable, A short walk to downtown and a short walk to the cliff walk and to Salve Regina University.

Great size for 3 adults and 2 children. Wonderful location, walkable to everything downtown. Check in was easy and parking is super easy.

Magnolia Manor was the perfect location (near Cliff Walk, Easton’s Beach, & walking distance to downtown). Brian was very responsive at all times and check-in was seamless. We loved spending time on the deck! Highly recommend staying here.

Magnolia Manor was just as described. The house was located in a safe area with easy to find street parking. Most of the “attractions” in the area were within a 10-15 minute walk and there were a couple of grocery stores and a free bus within a 5-minute walk. There was a small issue to which the host responded immediately. We would defiantly recommend this place.

Brian was an excellent host! We visited Newport for the first time and this place was perfectly located, walkable to town, and extremely clean. Brian was really communicative about check in/check out, letting us know there were fresh towels and sheets, and providing local recommendations around town via the materials in the home. We really enjoyed our experience staying here and will definitely be back!

Great location— close to downtown making it easy to walk back and forth

Great location, walkable to both and beach and downtown areas. Markets and restaurants just around the corner. Perfect for our group of four. Be aware that it is in the lower floor a building with other tenants, some of which came in late in the night. The neighborhood is also a bit noisy, due to it being in a more high traffic area. Other than that, it was a great stay and definitely worth what we paid. Would stay again!

We loved our stay here. The apartment was clean, bright and near everything. We communicated we were coming for wedding and needed a steamer. They made sure it was there for us! They also dropped off a bottle of wine. Would recommend to anyone traveling that area. Thank you so much.

It was a great location, easily walkable to so many great restaurants, the cliff walk and a supermarket! The place was clean and had zero issues finding a parking space. The host was very responsive, friendly, helpful and even dropped off a bottle of wine! Would highly recommend 😊

The apartment looks just like the photos and was nicely clean. Fabulous location, close to everything Newport has to offer. The dedicated parking spot for the upstairs unit was really nice to have as the street rarely had spots available. The host was quick to respond to any questions we had. We’d definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay! Not only was Brian’s place a great place to stay — the surrounding area was equally as great. Any time I’m back in the area, I’m certainly keeping Brian’s place top of mind.

This is a such a cozy spot. It’s a half of a mile to Thames St and walking distance to almost everything you’d want to go. Easy to find parking, convenient for dozens of reasons. Cru Cafe is a 5 minute walk away and we ate there twice while we were there. The house is perfect size for 4 people and provides enough privacy for 2 couples or a family. 10/10 would recommend and when I go back to Newport again, I’ll be trying to book this place again!

The apartment was comfortable and homey. It was a few minutes walk to a supermarket and 7-11, which was very convenient. It was a 10 minute walk to the famous Cliff Walk, and only a few more minutes to First Beach. There were also restaurants close by, and it seemed like everything we wanted to do–like go to the mansions–was a 5-minute drive. Highly recommended!

Had a great stay at Magnolia Manor! The apartment was well kept, incredibly clean and comfortable for four. Location was really great as well— walking distance or a super short drive from most of the fun Newport has to offer. Area is really quiet as well. From checking in to checking out, everything felt really easy. I appreciated Brian’s responsiveness as well. Great host. Definitely recommend.

Great place! Very nice. Well equipped! Actually has an extra set up bunks over what we expected so that would be good for some! Beach chairs were very helpful!

We loved this space! It’s walkable from everything or a short uber, the apartment itself is cozy and beautifully decorated. The space has absolutely everything you’ll need. Loved it!

Very thoughtful hosts

This was our second time staying at this location but first time with Brian as the owner. Brian was easy to contact and made check in and check out a breeze. We had no issues with the rental that needed to be addressed. The apartment was very clean with comfortable beds, linens and towels. Beach towels and chairs were also available which was nice. The kitchen was well equipped and included grilling tools with a charcoal grill out back. The apartment has easy parking and is walkable to local attractions including restaurants and bars off of Thames. It’s also an easy walk to first beach and the cliff walk. We absolutely love renting this space and hope to return. Thank you Brian!

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was exactly as pictured. Our host was responsive and so accommodating. When we asked about a baby gate, he provided one by the time of our stay and also informed us he purchased a pack and play, which was so helpful!!
We were welcomed to our stay with a bottle of wine and a brand new coloring book & crayons for our daughter, as we mentioned we were traveling with kids.
We will definitely stay again, as it’s a nice central location walkable to everything and not too loud.

Brian made us feel very welcome at his air bnb in Newport, RI. He left us beautiful balloons, chocolate and wine knowing it was our wedding anniversary and also had a pack n play set up for our 3 month old baby! Everything was clean and fully stocked with anything we might need including kitchen and bathroom essentials. The location was perfect- we were able to walk to Easton’s beach, the cliff walk, shops and restaurants. Brian had several wonderful recommendations for us to try in the area and we were very happy with all of the ones we got to during our short stay. There was even a few football games going on behind the air bnb which was a cool unanticipated add on for us to catch while we came back for a mid day break in the action with the baby. We didn’t get a chance to use the grill but there was one available. However we did get a chance to have a drink on the balcony and it was very enjoyable. I would certainly stay here again and would recommend to other guests!

We had such a wonderful stay at the Fabulous Pied-à-Terre in Newport! The location couldn’t have been better—centrally situated so we could walk everywhere, including to our new favorite breakfast spot just a block away (Cru Café—don’t be put off by the line, it moves quickly!). We came for a wedding with another couple and found the home spotless, bright, and perfectly suited for our stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we especially loved enjoying our morning coffee out on the deck. The owner was also kind enough to accommodate a late checkout, which we truly appreciated. We highly recommend this gem!

The host was excellent in terms of communication and flexibility. The home was clean and well stocked upon our arrival, and is an excellent location in terms of proximity to restaurants, shops and other attractions.

Everything about this property is perfect. We loved the outside space and how easy it was to get around. We enjoyed the cliff and beach walks. Spent time at the mansions. Enjoyed great drives. The restaurant recommendations were excellent. Also very helpful in advising regards a garage to repair a nail in the tire. Excellent host.

Host was very helpful and responsive and recommended great restaurants. The location is amazing and we could easily walk to everything we wanted to do. Also, it’s close to a football field so we got an amazing view of the local college football game which was a lot of fun. Very quiet at night.
